Entry for December 30, 2007
Went to see Grandma Jean today. It was the first time since Grandpa passed. It wasn't sad so much as weird. The house seemed less somehow without him in it. For the past twenty years I am used to walking in the house seeing Grandpa sitting in his recliner, holding his cane. My Grandma is adjusting but she still seems at a loss as what to do some times. She would always get up and make tea for him and have cookies or something. I know the quiet bothers her, she always has the radio or TV on. They were married for over 60 yrs so it will take awhile.
